This game lived up to the hype and some, it was a hard fought contest between two of the better teams in the country. Maryland held off Baylor 79-76, the Bears had an opportunity to send it to overtime at the end of regulation but the shot didn't fall.
There was no shortage of talent on display for the next level in today's game, NaLyssa Smith, Ashley Owusu, Jordan Lewis and Angel Reese put on a show for those in attendance.
Both teams had a short bench which made some of the things that happened in this game even more impressive. A pair of players with 40 minute outings and at least four players with 35 plus minutes played.
