Defense Leads Terps on Senior Day

On the day to honor their Seniors, the Maryland Terrapins put on a defensive clinic in the first half of their 80-65 win over the Nebraska Cornhuskers.


Chloe Bibby led a balanced Maryland effort with 21 points and 4 rebounds. The Terps had six players in double figures, Angel Reese had a monstrous double double of 15 points and 16rebounds. Mimi Collins missed out on a double double with 11 points and 9 rebounds. Sellers also had 11 points, she also had five rebounds and two assists. Benzan and Miller added 10 points a piece.

Nebraska was led by Ashley Scoggin’s 20 points, she shot 6-of-11 from beyond the arc both of which were career highs along with her 4 steals. Isabella Bourne added 11 points and four rebounds, Allison Weidner and Alexis Markowski had eight points a piece.
