Keep An Eye On:
USA's Balanced Attack: has been devastating for opponents thus far in the first two games of the Paris Olympics. The efficient inside-outside attack that the USA brings to the table, is something no team has been able to combat for a full 40 minutes...if at all. USA is shooting 57.6 percent from the field and a ridiculous 50 percent from three point range and have SEVEN players shooting 60 percent or better from the field and SIX players shooting 50 percent or better from deep. It's truly a damn if you do, damn if you don't situation trying to slow down the US Men's. Kevin Durant, who's playing the sixth man role, is leading the way, hitting 71.4 percent of his shots from the field, 100 percent from deep and to make matters worse....he's also shooting free throws at just under 91 percent. Puerto Rico, had their hands full in their loss to Serbia, giving up 107 points on 58 percent shooting from field, thanks in large part to the near triple double (14 points, 15 rebounds, 9 assists) from center Nikola Jokic, and that's with Puerto Rico holding Serbia to 28 percent shooting from deep.
A healthy dose of inside-out play from the US Men's offensively, along with the high level defense they've brought to the table over their first two games, should result in a convincing win.
